Salisbury FC Women are in the progress of setting up a development team ready to play competitively for the 2023/24 season in either Wiltshire or Hampshire leagues.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in an established, England Football Accredited club with roots in the local community. Salisbury FC Women’s First Team are hard at work focusing on promotion, alongside co-ordinating a brand new youth girls pathway with Salisbury FC Youth – we want to give aspirations to young female footballers across the county and create opportunity for everyone.
Playing in the Salisbury FC Women’s Development Team will help those aspiring footballers to grow and excel, with opportunity to be recruited into the First Team and progress even further. This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to recapture their love of football or for those coming out of a youth team and are looking to begin their adult footballing journey – Salisbury FC Women play from the ages of 16+.
Under the umbrella of Salisbury FC, prospective players will be in a professional environment, with knowledge from a qualified coaching team, a dedicated welfare team and a revamped management team – these officials are volunteers, so for this reason we expect all players to adhere to a code of conduct, a document listing the expected behaviours should they wish to play. The code of conduct and relevant signing on paperwork and fees will be discussed should the player pass through our players trials.
