Community Care

A busy end to the season at the end of March and into April saw the launch of the Club’s Community Care Initiative with funds granted to the Club from the Trident League via the Southern League. With the help of our very good friends and main club sponsor Retain Healthcare, in association with Wiltshire Care Partnership, free tickets and travel were offered to residents and carers in Care establishments throughout Wiltshire to Salisbury FC home matches at the Ray Mac Stadium.

At the matches against North Leigh, Hayes, Dorchester, Winchester and Weston-Super-Mare we were delighted to host residents and carers from both the local establishments in Old Sarum and from further afield in Wiltshire.  A total of 61 guests enjoyed a day out watching the football and generally having a great time enjoying the facilities at the club.  Some Salisbury FC players were also on hand to welcome our guests to the matches.

Soccer Schools

Additionally, the club via organisations such as Salisbury City Council and Wiltshire Council have offered free places at the Soccer School held at the RayMac Stadium.  To date, a total of 7 children have taken up this offer.

Next Season

Salisbury FC is pleased to announce that both initiatives will be continued into the upcoming new season.

If any organisations wish to make use of either of these offers then please contact Jim Ayres on 01722 776655 or [email protected]
