We’re pleased to announce that Danny Carter has accepted the Manager’s role at Salisbury FC Women. Danny is from the Midlands and supports Birmingham City and since leaving the Navy he has started working in the Salisbury area as a scaffolder.

I moved to Amesbury in 2020 where I live with my long-suffering partner, Leanne, my two boys Archie and Riley plus a mad Golden Retriever called Freddie. I have achieved Level 2 FA Badges as well as a Sports Psychology Masters. I love football. I played as a Goalkeeper, but I am better suited to coaching than playing. I have been involved with both men’s and women’s football for many years and have coached/managed Stratford Spitfires Women, Appledore Lioness, Lochinver FC and Yatton FC. My dream is to grow and to open up the women's game in the area and bring through the youth and talent from the teams below as well as get all levels of women involved to enjoy this wonderful game. I ultimately want to progress the team into the next tier of women’s football and build on the family club mentality.
