Salisbury welcome Calne to their new home ground at the Ray Mac. The weather is wet and cold but it isn’t dampening the mood of the home team with fans in the stands ready for an exciting game. 

Calne get us underway but Salisbury collect the ball and make their way down to the corner and cross it in, Imogen Brady jumps for the cross but just falls short and lands on her arm. Play is stopped as Imogen Brady is unable to continue as her injury is a heavy one, she is subbed off for Annabel Dugwell and play restarts.  

Thirteen minutes into the game and a beautifully weighted pass to Evie Cummings sends her running down the wing and in towards goal. Evie chips it but the keeper gets a glove to it and knocks it down, Zoe Alcock finishes it off and puts the ball over the line. 1-0 

Calne have a good chance on goal but debuting GK Chloe Statham picks it up and sends the ball back down the pitch.  

Half an hour into the game and Deyna Davie has run past a defender slipped past the keeper and finds the back of the net. 2-0  

Play restarts and Salisbury keep applying the pressure with more chances on goal. Zoe Alcock makes a great run with the ball and lays it off to Rachel Lang who knocks it towards Deyna Davie who strikes the ball fiercely to find the net again. 3-0 

The home crowd are full of energy and backing the team. Calne get us underway again but Salisbury quickly get the ball and make a run towards goal and are awarded a corner, it’s fired in but comes out to Deyna Davie on the edge of the box who hits it on the volley to find the back of the net and her hat trick. Whistle is blown for half time and the score is 4-0. 

Salisbury get the second half underway with a great strike from Olivia Leather which hits the crossbar. Followed up by a shot just over the bar by Rachel Lang. Calne are seeing more of the ball now and making some good passes in the middle of the field but Salisbury are handling the pressure well. 

Three substitutions are made just after kickoff: Deyna Davie is replaced by Georgi Bavister, Amy Sanger off for Gemma Fletcher and Kelly Church is on for Annabel Dugwell. 

Seventy-two minutes and Olivia Leather has a shot on goal but it hits a Calne player and bounces back at her feet but she tries again and this time finds the back of the net. 5-0 to Salisbury. 

Kylie subbed off for Amy Baird and Amy Sanger makes her way back onto the pitch for Nicky Millings. Zoe Alcock comes off and Deyna Davie returns to the pitch hungry for more goals. 

A few minutes left of the game and Calne make a run towards the Salisbury goal, the defence get hold of the ball but Amy Baird can’t clear it and the Calne player regains possession and chips it over the keeper to find the back of the net 5-1. 

Salisbury kickoff and lose the ball, Calne make a run for goal and are fouled just outside the box by Kelly Church. Calne have a free kick which is hit hard and goes under the defensive wall and is knocked behind by Chloe Statham for a corner. The corner is taken but cleared away by the Salisbury defence. The final whistle is blown, final score 5-1 Salisbury.  

Player of the match goes to Deyna Davie, who had a fantastic game and came away with a hat trick.
