We’re pleased to announce the signing of 27-year-old defender/midfielder, Tom Leggett from Hartley Wintney, subject to FA approval.
After progressing through the Southampton academy and captaining their under-18 side, Tom moved to Aston Villa in 2014 and became a regular for their under-23s in Premier League 2, making over fifty appearances and captaining the side whilst also being given the opportunity to train with the first team. During this time he also received a call-up for the Wales under-19s, for their Euro Under-19 Championship qualifying campaign.
Since being released by Villa, Tom has spent time with Eastleigh, Basingstoke and Farnborough.

I’m delighted to have Tom on board. He’s a player with a fantastic pedigree having played for both Southampton and Aston Villa as a youngster and was lastly the Captain of Hartley Wintney.
Tom is a very versatile player who can play numerous positions in defence and midfield.
