After the Lionesses victory which excited the nation, Salisbury FC Women are looking for ways to expand and develop as a team in the hope of bringing more visibility to the world of women’s football. The women’s first team are raring to go ahead this season, with investments being made into fresh kit (courtesy of our sponsor R Stokes LTD) training equipment and a revamped management and coaching team.
The next stage is to look towards creating a development squad this season in order to be prepared and ready to launch for 2023/24. We aim to work with Salisbury FC Youth to design a pathway for young girls looking to progress and make it to the women’s side, however these numbers aren’t enough.
We are keen to talk to women in Salisbury and the surrounding areas who have played or currently play football, or are looking to trial the sport or merely stay fit, to join our new development squad.
