The Club are looking to recruit players to add to our Wiltshire Premier League squad. (step 7 NLS feeder leagues).
The league is an adult semi professional league and is a decent level, but a tough challenge for our young squad. The level is ideally suited to 2nd year 18’s or those 19-22 playing U23 or adult football that want to step up another level.
Suitable players will without exception need to show a determination and ambition to play at the highest level they can. You will also need to like football played the right way which is on the deck. You will likely also have been playing at a decent level of football through youth and into U18’s and beyond (for the older lads).
Our brief from the clubs 1st team manager is simple. Develop players that can impact our 1st team that currently play in the Pitching in Southern Premier League (step 3). We play the same style in the development squad so players that go into the 1st team environment are comfortable already with how the side play.
The current 1st team squad has three players that have progressed through the development into the 1st team. The medium and long term ambition is to increase on that.
Our home games are played at the Ray Mac a 5000 capacity purpose built stadium in Salisbury. Training is on 4G.
