Volunteers from Salisbury FC have been running the Old Sarum Car Boot Sale for just over a year now. It started slowly with only a few sellers turning up. As it started to build, we had a bit of a setback as there was a booty planned one Sunday and the weather turned out much nicer than forecasted, but the Met Office predictions had unfortunately put people off for that one so visitor numbers were down.

Despite this, our cheery group of volunteers pushed on and continued to turn up early on the first Sunday of every month to run the events. It has paid off handsomely with the boot sales being a busy hive of activity now. Money raised from the car boot sale has just pushed through the £5000 mark. These vital funds are a huge help to the Club.

We have a regular group of sellers that join us and new faces turn up every time. They know they get a friendly welcome from the staff and the bacon butties, cakes and refreshments from the Car Boot Cafe are always popular.

We’d like to thank all sellers and buyers that turn up and all of the volunteers that give up their time to make the Old Sarum Car Boot Sale the success it is.

The next Old Sarum Car Boot Sale is on Sunday, April 2nd.
