We have been informed that some of the Salisbury FC Development squad have received a proximity notification from the NHS app today stemming from interactions with an opposition player on July 10th. The warning was not in relation to Wednesday evening’s match at the Ray Mac. They are now isolating as instructed as a precaution. There have been no positive tests within the Dev squad so far.

As a consequence, the Dev match that was due to take place at Laverstock tomorrow has been postponed.

The Salisbury FC first team are not affected as they have had no contact with the Dev squad. The friendly game against Totton this Saturday will go ahead as planned.  As we learn to live with this virus, this is likely to occur for all teams and indeed for all places of work from time to time.  Even though most restrictions are coming to an end, we still believe that regular hand washing, being mindful of your contact with others and following any isolation instructions will help to minimise the ongoing impact of Covid 19.
