Sido Jombati

Professionalism personified, our captain was a preseason signing from Ebbsfleet United in 2023, having helped the Fleet canter to the National League South title the season before. Sido boasts an excellent playing pedigree, having won Bath City’s Player of the Season in 2011, earning himself a move into the Football League with Cheltenham Town. Despite only playing for the Robins for three seasons, Sido was named in their Team of the Decade in 2019, showing the calm yet passionate player leaves a lasting impression wherever he plays. Jombati spent six seasons at Wycombe Wanderers, helping the club achieve promotion to the Championship for the first time in their history before moving on to Oldham Athletic. Sido’s professionalism and the high standards he holds himself and his teammates to is one of the key factors to the upturn in fortunes at Salisbury FC this season.
