Salisbury FC can confirm that Owen Dore has joined Poole Town on a short-term loan.
The 20-year-old, who was named Salisbury’s Young Player of the Year last season, has moved to the Southern League Premier South side to gain regular first-team experience. Dore has featured predominantly in defence for the Whites, while also showing his versatility by operating in midfield when required.
Poole Town are currently in strong form near the top of their division and are expected to be among the promotion contenders this season. The move presents Dore with an opportunity to test himself in a competitive environment and continue his development with consistent minutes at senior level.
