Salisbury FC is pleased to announce that a new Manager has been appointed for the SFC Women’s team.
His name is Dave Sawyer and he has lived in Salisbury his whole life. He has played local football for many years and then later moved into management, coaching men’s sides. He has over 20 years experience in the management of local teams and is keen to share this experience with the ladies’ team. He is now pursuing formal coaching qualifications.
Dave has said “My aim is to revive and develop the Salisbury FC Women’s team and be competitive in the Wiltshire league. With women’s football riding high with the England national team and the WSL, I feel extremely excited and with the group of ladies already here and with more to come on board too, I’m confident we can make a real impact here at the Ray Mac.”
