We’re pleased to announce that Jamar Smith has signed for Salisbury FC. The versatile right-back joins us from Didcot Town having previously played for North Leigh.
Jamar has been playing as a trialist and has been training with the team in pre-season, so he should settle in quickly.
Dutts said the following when I asked him about Jamar earlier today.
I’m delighted to have Jamar signed, sealed and delivered. He’s a player that came in off his own back through pre-season and proved himself and integrated into the group well. He’s a versatile player who can play numerous positions, prominently at right back but can also play on the wing. He’ll be a fantastic addition to the squad.
I took the opportunity to have a quick chat with Jamar after the game against Hampton & Richmond. His enthusiasm is infectious. You can tell Jamar is ready to be a Salisbury player and is loving it. Brian Dutton is first and then have a listen to Jamar here…
