Salisbury Football Club would like to update supporters regarding recent changes within our media team.
Former Press Officer Andy Munns has stepped away from his role due to personal circumstances and other professional commitments. This was an unexpected change that took effect suddenly, which naturally led to a slight dip in the volume and quality of content in recent weeks. We would like to place on record our thanks to Andy for his contribution and wish him the very best for the future. While Andy will no longer be working within the club, supporters will still see him around on matchdays in his role with Salisbury Radio and through other external projects.
After a thorough recruitment process, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Jaime Field, a recent graduate in Multimedia Sports Journalism from UCFB Wembley, as our new Press Officer and Social Media Lead. Due to circumstances, Jaime has only been able to officially begin her role in the latter stages of this week, but we are excited to welcome her to the club and look forward to the impact she will make.
We are also pleased to confirm that Dave Mullen will be joining the media team in the coming weeks. A lifelong Salisbury supporter, Dave is passionate about giving back to the club and is eager to play his part off the pitch. He will be focusing on creating social media content around the first team, with an emphasis on interactive features and giving supporters more opportunities to see and engage with the players. Dave is also keen to help develop new content ideas that reflect what fans want to see, ensuring our output feels both professional and connected to our community.
With Jaime and Dave now taking on media responsibilities, Toby, who has been serving as the club’s Commercial Manager since August, will now be able to put his full focus into that role. Following the unexpected change, he had been covering elements of both commercial and media for a short period, but this transition will allow him to dedicate his full attention to driving sponsorship opportunities and strengthening relationships with local and regional businesses.
Speaking on the changes, Club Chairman Ali Alhamad said:
“We are working hard behind the scenes to create a dedicated and professional team to take Salisbury FC forward.
Toby will continue to oversee the commercial side of the club, driving sponsorship opportunities and building strong relationships with local and regional businesses. Jaime Field will lead our social media, community outreach, and matchday media operations, supported by Dave Mullen, who will focus on creating engaging content about the first team and players.
While the impact of these developments may not be immediately visible, our supporters will soon see the benefits, with standards that reflect the ambitions of Salisbury Football Club. Exciting times are ahead, and we thank you for your continued support.”
As a club, we are delighted to welcome both Jaime and Dave into their new roles and look forward to seeing their contributions make a real difference. We thank our supporters for their patience during this period of transition; and for their continued backing as we build a stronger future together, on and off the pitch.
