The Whites are still on the hunt for their first win of the season, having gone ahead at the weekend through a thunderous strike from Mike Atkinson in the 13th minute.
It was a valiant defensive effort from the side as they battled to keep the clean sheet, and their opponents, who notably defeated Torquay United in the week prior, eventually breached the defence.
A late effort from Meekums levelled the score for both sides, finding the back of the net shortly before his teammate Brivio saw red for an off the ball offence just minutes later.
Salisbury were unable to capitalise on the man advantage, and the points were shared between the two sides.
Brian Dutton said: “in possession and out of possession we just didn’t find the solution we needed to give us control of the game”
Salisbury travel to Sussex on Tuesday, for an evening fixture against Worthing. Having registered two points in their last three games, Worthing currently sit 15th in the table.
The first point came from a goalless draw against Enfield Town, with neither team able to break the deadlock.
Worthing then travelled to Chippenham town in a match they failed to score in, with an effort from Jake Evans separating the two sides.
At the weekend, they hosted Maidstone United. A match that saw plenty of late drama as a six-goal thriller ended square, with both sides scoring in additional time.
