At last night’s Salisbury Football Club Fans’ Forum, we were thrilled to receive another £2000 donation from the Supporters’ Club.
The hard work of our Supporters’ Club is apparent to anyone who travels to away games and hears the 50/50 prizes. As the various Clubs announce the winning ticket and amount paid out, I always say, “Our Supporters’ Club would smash that five times over.” and they do every game. From the committee members to the ticket sellers like Ray, Keith, Gordon, Leona, Ness, and Kevin they all play a part in raising these important funds for the Club.
This obviously only works when coupled with the generosity of the supporters coming through the turnstiles. The biggest thank you goes to all of you who turn up and participate at every home game. If, like me, you’ve never won the 50/50, seeing this money go back into your club is a good second prize. Although I wouldn’t mind if my ticket got plucked out someday.

Head to the Supporters Club table at the bar at the next home match to join. They’re also on the lookout for more committee members to join.
