There are to be some changes to car park charges as we enter the new season.
With effect from the pre-season friendlies the charge for using the car park will increase to £2. A limited number of car park season tickets will be available for £35 online or payment by card through the office from today, Monday, 22 July.
As many of our supporters know, the state of the car park has been deteriorating over the past few years, with many potholes.
Filling in the holes has proved no more than a very temporary fix.
It is, therefore, intended to use the additional car park income to contribute to a longer-term solution.
As last season progressed, pressure on the car park increased, resulting in some supporters being turned away.
Those buying car park season tickets will be guaranteed a space up to 2 pm on Saturdays.
Tuesday evening games do not have the same issue but will be kept under review as we will have more Tuesday games this coming season than in previous seasons.
We are also looking to partner with an organisation close to the RayMac to provide additional parking near the stadium. If this initiative progresses, we will provide more information when we have it.
