We’re pleased to announce that Harry Williams has signed for Salisbury FC from Gloucester City.

The 27-year-old forward had a great scoring record in the Southern League South during his time at Swindon Supermarine and he was the top scorer during the last campaign. With a few familiar faces in our squad, we’re sure he’ll settle in quickly at the Ray Mac.

Harry started his career in the youth system at Cheltenham Town. After loan spells at the likes of Farnborough and Gloucester City, he moved to the USA to play for Sacramento Republic.
On his return to England, he signed for Gloucester City before moving to Swindon Supermarine.

I spoke to Salisbury Manager, Brian Dutton earlier and he had the following to say.

I’m absolutely delighted to acquire the services of last season’s league top goal scorer, Harry Williams. When Harry became available and said he wished to join Salisbury, it was too good an offer to turn down. Not only is he a proven goal scorer but equally impressive is his ability to link the play from defence to attack.

The Salisbury faithful should be very excited by this marquee signing and join me in thanking our wonderful Chairman and Wife Helena for their continued support in bringing the good times back to the Ray Mac.

Welcome to Salisbury FC, Harry Williams.
