Salisbury’s next league match is away at Hampton & Richmond in the Vanarama National League South as Brian Dutton’s side looks to continue their unbeaten start.

The Whites are one of seven teams in the league that remain unbeaten after three league fixtures, and they are looking to establish themselves in the competition.

The games are coming quickly. This will be the third game in eight days for both these sides, with another to come on Bank Holiday Monday.

Last time out, Salisbury showed their battling qualities to come from behind to win a point against Truro City on Tuesday.

Truro are a hybrid side, with a mix of full-time and part-time players. They are looking to fully establish themselves in this league after a good first term last season. Like Salisbury, they came up by winning the playoffs.

An early goal from Ryan Law gave the ‘Tinners’ a first-minute lead. That was cancelled out from the spot in the second half as Josh Hedges scored his second penalty in two games.

Hampton and Richmond Borough are entering this season after missing out on the playoffs last season by just one point, but they have had a tricky start this term.

They lost at home to AFC Hornchurch on the opening day of the season. They have followed that up with two away draws at Chelmsford City and on Tuesday against Maidstone United.

Hampton and Richmond have had quite a turnover of playing staff and are looking to rebuild with a new manager, Alan Jullian.
