Salisbury’s FA Cup campaign gets underway this weekend with a trip to Hampshire to face Wessex Premier League side AFC Stoneham.
The second qualifying round match sees Brian Dutton’s side take a break from league action with a tough match against a Stoneham side yet to be beaten this season.
So far this season, Stoneham have played nine games. They have won all three of their league fixtures, scoring 15 goals in the process.
In the cup, they have overcome Moneyfields, Millbrook via a replay, and Fleet Town. They have also won two Hampshire Senior Cup games.
They are not shy in front of goal, scoring 35 goals in their nine matches so far and will test Salisbury’s defensive resolve.
Salisbury, on the other hand, have had a mixed start to the season. They beat teams like Boreham Wood and Slough but have lost their last three fixtures.
A tricky start to life in the Vanarama National League South wasn’t unexpected, as Dutton’s young squad adjust to the higher standard of football.
The game is not all ticket, and entrance is available via turnstile on the day using cash or card.

AFC Stoneham ask that all supporters arrive as early as possible for the game and enter the ground by 2:30pm to assist with their match day arrangements and efficiencies.
Parking is available at the ground in two large car parks with disabled parking directly outside.
