Salisbury FC is looking to recruit a Part Time First Team Physiotherapist.

You will deliver a high standard of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to players coordinating directly with the first team coaching staff.

Working hours are flexible but the successful candidate will be available at training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the Salisbury area and present during all remaining fixtures during the National League South season 2024/25 and other hours as required.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide physiotherapy support to the first team; implementation of appropriate treatment and rehabilitation strategies; pre-training management of players, including strapping, taping and administration of treatment as required. • Provide support & oversee the development, coordination and implementation of all medical musculoskeletal matters. • Coordinate with coaching staff and players with all necessary investigations (e.g., MRI, X-ray), appointments, and specialist treatments/procedures. • Liaise effectively with the first team coaching staff daily to keep them informed of players’ availability for matches and training. • Educate players on responsible management of injuries and injury prevention strategies. • Provide physiotherapy match day cover for all first team games • Provide on-field first aid to injured players

PERSON SPECIFICATION ESSENTIAL: Qualifications: • Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF) or a recognised equivalent.• A full UK Driving Licence. Experience: • Experience working in a professional football club environment preferable but not essential • Knowledge and experience of strength and conditioning requirements of the elite footballer • Excellent communication skills • Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work • Ability to encourage & motivate players with rehabilitation & injury prevention programmes. • An enthusiastic attitude • The ability to work well in a team and on your own. • Ability to travel. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be aged over 18 years. The role will require an enhanced DBS, which will be paid for by the employer.
